Amy Gore (b. December 18) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and founding member of the all-female band the Gore Gore Girls from Detroit, Michigan. ==Career== Gore is endorsed by the Gretsch company and was featured along with her band Gore Gore Girls in the Gretsch Guitars 120 year anniversary calendar. Gore collaborated with Nikki Corvette, of Nikki and the Corvettes, on "(Gorevette )", a project that released one EP in 2010. The group toured as direct support to Blondie in 2010 and also toured Japan independently in 2010. Gore's debut solo album, "In Love", was released in association with Bloodshot Records in 2012. The album features tracks co-written by Jackson Smith, Patti Smith's son, and is co-produced by Jackson Smith and Al Sutton, Kid Rock's long time producer and engineer. Guest musicians on the album include Luis Resto, famous for his work on Eminem's "8 Mile" album, and Dennis Coffey, legendary funk brother and guitar virtuoso. Gore's songs with the Gore Gore Girls were featured in the hit series 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' and 'Living Lohan', the reality show featuring Lindsay Lohan's mother-manager Dina Lohan, on the E! Entertainment Network in 2008. MTV's 'The Real World' show also featured Gore Gore Girls music in 2008. Gore's music is featured on Little Steven's Underground Garage show on Sirius XM radio, both her work with the Gore Gore Girls and her solo album, "In Love". The single off of her debut solo album, "Drivin' Around", was featured in a General Motors TV commercial for the Chevy Equinox model in the years 2012-2013. Gore currently moonlights with the Rosalyns, an all-girl act from San Diego, CA.
